Meet Our Team
Jonathan Bowen
Owner
I am proud to be the owner of Bowen Family Agency, where my business is built around three things that have always mattered most to me: faith, family, and service.
Before becoming a business owner, I had the honor of serving our country for 14 years in the United States Army and Air Force, including three combat deployments. My time as a soldier taught me the importance of discipline, integrity, loyalty, and taking care of the people who depend on you. Those values continue to guide the way I run my agency and serve my customers today.
My faith is a major part of who I am and how I try to live my life. I believe in treating people with respect, doing the right thing, and helping others whenever I can. To me, insurance is more than selling a policy. It is about helping families protect what they have worked hard to build and being there when they need help the most.
Above everything else, I am a family man. I am a proud father of three and a loving husband. My family is the reason I work hard every day, and it is also why I understand how important it is to protect the people and things that matter most.
At Bowen Family Agency, my goal is simple: serve people with the same commitment, honesty, and dedication that I have tried to live by throughout my life. Whether you are protecting your home, vehicles, family, or future, I want you to know you have someone in your corner.

I am a family man who believes that taking care of people starts with building relationships and earning trust. Family has always been at the center of my life, and that same sense of responsibility carries over into the way I serve my clients.
I have spent several years in the insurance industry helping individuals and families understand their coverage and find protection that fits their needs. I believe insurance should be straightforward, personal, and focused on making sure you are prepared when life does not go according to plan.
Outside of work, I am a lifelong classic car enthusiast. I currently own a 1938 Chevrolet Business Coup. I appreciate the history, craftsmanship, and character of older vehicles and I am always happy to talk cars with a fellow enthusiast.
Whether I am spending time with my family, admiring a classic car, or helping a customer protect what they have worked hard for, I value honesty, reliability, and treating people the way I would want my own family to be treated.

I am a licensed property, casualty and life producer with a background in client service, mortgage sales and legal. I earned my bachelors degree in paralegal studies from Eastern Michigan University.
I enjoy helping clients understand their options and making insurance feel less complicated. I believe in being honest, communicating clearly, and taking the time to learn what matters most to each person I work with.
Outside of the office, I enjoy photography, playing the piano, listening to music, journaling, reading, writing and watching a good movie. I also love spending time outdoors, attending church, being with family and friends, and my beloved dog Charlotte.
